New era
November 25, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Once again this blog has been feeling neglected for quite a long time. But guess what, we are back… A lot of things have been going on lately. First of all, Yannos came back from Berlin. Minas moved to the Big Apple, not the one in Kolonaki, the real thing. He will probably stay there for at least 4 years. So, our line up has changed again. But it’s not a big deal, since we ‘ve got quite used to it. Stelios Provis aka Psomis (planet of zeus, flibber, mc yinka&urbanix) is now a proud member of the fingers crossed family. The good news is that we have already started working on our second album and we feel really excited with the new sound. Many songs, many ideas, a lot of work. So keep in touch…
The following video is a live version of a song from one of my favourite bands, Jaga Jazzist, who ‘ve just returned from a four year hiatus and just released a new single called “One armed Bandit”. The album is due in January. A great youtube user just uploaded a whole high quality concert of them.

A helpful online guide to the greek “underground” music scene
September 29, 2009 · 2 Comments
First of all I’d like to make clear, that the use of quotations in the title is just because I ‘m not quite fond of the term underground. So , for those of you who have lost track of the latest releases or have no idea of what I’m talking about, here’s a really great blog. Many releases, descriptions, download links, buy it links, myspace links etc. I’m sure you’ll attain a quite well rounded knowledge of the scene. Have fun…

PS: We are not included in this blog, mainly because we have a well established international career and sell millions of records.

SSFLogicNinja is a nice person.
June 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Nice people are hard to find these days and I’m pretty sure I’ve found one.. This guy’s name is David Earl (or you can call him SFLogicNinja, he doesn’t really care) and apart from being a nice person he is a Logic Pro Guru.
And he is kind enough to share his expertise on Logic Pro with you who are completely lazy to read the manual of this amazing but complicated programme.
How?
By shooting Logic Pro tutorial videos and uploading them on Youtube.
Yes, I know tutorial videos is nothing new but this guy is the best I’ve seen, really skilled, organized (more than 40 lessons ranging from basics to advanced stuff) and he explains complicated procedures in a way that even a 6 year old would understand. And all of this is of course free of charge. Nice.
Kids, say thank you to mister Earl..

June 4, 2009 · 1 Comment
Οι Medeski Martin and Wood
